Pool Rules & Hours


Rules

  • Food may not be brought on the pool deck for any reason with exception of tables below the pool terrace
  • No outside food and beverage may be brought into the Timmons House or Pool Facility for any reason (With exception of water)
  • Glass is NEVER permitted on the pool deck
To begin the pool season the following guest policy will be in effect which is designed to create an inclusive atmosphere while ensuring sufficient resources are available for our membership:

  • Guest Policy (Members are not permitted to bring more than eight (8) guests at one time
  • Members may pre-register guests via the mobile app however the sponsoring member must always be present
  • Any member who wishes to bring more than the allotted guest amount should contact the pool manager (Jtejada@fairmountcc.com) in advance
  • **On high traffic operating days, guests will be permitted at the Pool Managers discretion

    Pool Utilization
  • Please note that for families to utilize the pool you must have selected pool recreation fees as part of your membership selection process (This can also be done upon your first visit if not done previously)

    Guest Fees
  • Guest fees will apply and be billed at the conclusion of the month of $18/visit.
  • Children under the age of 4 will not be billed.  

  • Guest Policy
    Full members are permitted to bring guests throughout the season. Any time a member is planning to bring more than the allotted guest amount, please contact the pool manager in advance. In addition:
  • Guests are expected to adhere to all existing FCC policies and guidelines in place.
  • The sponsoring member is responsible for the conduct of guests brought to FCC.
  • Members are not permitted to leave their guests unsupervised.
  • Caregivers may be added to a member account for a fee of $225 per year.
  • Caregivers are not permitted to use the facility on their own and should register on the mobile app prior to the start of pool season (JTejada@fairmountcc.com) prior to the start of the season**
The following pool policies are set forth by the pool committee to ensure both a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons, guests, and staff. We ask that you review these policies in advance with your family prior to the pool opening:
  • All patrons must check-in at the pool kiosk prior to using the facility
  • No running is permitted on the pool deck (All non-water activities must take place on the grassy areas)
  • The area in front of the diving board must be cleared before the next person can jump
  • When using the slide swimmers must go down feet first and on their backs
  • Lifeguards are empowered and expected to maintain a safe aquatic experience at all times (All members and children are expected to adhere to any guidance provided by either pool management or lifeguards)
  • No hanging, sitting or standing on lane/rope lines
  • Diving from the blocks is NOT allowed other than during team practices or structured programming  
  • Any child who is not potty trained is required to wear waterproof diapers while in the water at all times
  • All children under 12 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
  • When the lightning siren sounds, all members must leave the water immediately until the siren sounds again
When walking to and from the pool, appropriate cover-ups are required
As a courtesy to fellow members and the FCC staff, we kindly ask members to do their part in helping keep our aquatic facilities maintained
  • Please be use appropriate garbage cans, and inform staff if there is a mess that requires assistance from a team member
  • Take only the desired # of towels needed and be mindful of the location (When complete please return used towels to the bins)
  • Chair reservations are not permitted
Our aquatic team looks forward to delivering a robust summer experience this season with further details to follow. In the interim:
  • Masters (adult) swim will be held MWF from 6:00-7:00am and on Saturdays from 7:00-8:00 am (Contact Ron Epstein for details)
  • Swim Season will begin Monday, June 20th (Details to follow)
